If you would like to join our club, please make contact and arrange a visit. You could fill in an application for downloaded from below and bring along with you.

We welcome new members whether you are a complete beginner or an established player. Squash and racketball is a great way to keep fit, so why not come along and see if you might like to join us.

How much does it cost to join and play?

There is an annual membership fee which is currently only the equivalent of £15 per month for a single adult membership and only £4.16 for juniors (under 19). We have discounted adult rates for under 25's and over 65's. We also have reduced family rates.

There is a small fee for court lights shared between the two players (£2.50 - £4.00 depending on day and time) Therefore per player fees are only £1.25 (off peak) and £2.00 per player (peak) per 40 minute session. This fee is deducted automatically when you book a court using the on site or online booking system. It works simply by using the credit from both players accounts to share the cost of the court. Your account is topped up using a Paypal account or debit card.

We believe our system is fair in that the more you play the more you will pay unlike most leisure clubs where you need to almost live at the club to get your monies worth out of a monthly subscription.  The annual subscription needs to be committed to annually as we are a members club, however we can offer a split post dated cheque option to spread the cost across the first 2 months. E.G. £180 = 2 x £90 payments at the point of joining up for a single adult new member.

Our club offers good value for members to play squash and racketball. Use of the gym equipment is included. Non members cannot book courts as we are a private members club. Members can bring guests to play with certain restrictions.

How do I book courts?
We have an easy to use online booking system to use at home or you can book at the club. Courts become available for booking one week in advance. You can also book courts whilst at the club on the booking consul.

What opportunities are there for meeting and playing new people?
The club has a monthly Club Night and internal leagues so you can play people at your level. There are other Friday night open playing sessions and a Racketball ladder. We also run a series of competitions and social events where you can make contact with other members to arrange games. We also now have a new member mentor system which helps you meet new similar standard players.

Any other questions? Just email the club and we will get back to you. fairoaksquash@gmail.com
