FOS&RC are very proud to have been able to present Mountbatten Hampshire (formally Countess Mountbatten) hospice, located at West End, a cheque for £2,000 raised by various activities carried out in our club over the past 18 months. Our juniors alone raised over £1,500 of that money, with the remainder coming from an exhibition night and a sale of club T-shirts. 

Rebecca Woodhead (far left in pic), fundraiser for Mountbatten, attended a Saturday junior session last week, where she was very pleased to receive our donation.

A big thanks to all involved who helped to raise these funds, which is going to such a fabulous local facility who have nursed many of our friends and relatives with end of life care and who rely entirely on charitable donations to operate. 

We will announce soon who will be our next local beneficiary charity for the coming season.
