About Us

Established in 1971, Fair Oak Squash and Racketball Club is a community rackets and fitness club situated in the heart of Fair Oak village. The club is run by volunteer committee members on a not for profit basis and any income above paying our running costs is invested back into the club for the benefit of all members.

Most of our members play just for pleasure socially or in our internal leagues, however we also have teams playing in the Hampshire squash and racketball leagues and any interested member is encouraged to challenge for places in our teams.

The club has three courts (one glass back), changing/shower facilities including a disability access WC and shower, a fitness room, a bar and kitchen. We have a simple to use online booking system for courts which complements the control screen facility inside the club. Our membership subscription fees are amongst the cheapest in Hampshire from only the equivalent of £12 per month for adults* and £4 for juniors.* A small charge for court lights is also charged but normally split between the two players.

The bar is open on team match and functions nights plus whenever a volunteer bar staff has opened it. It is only staffed by volunteer members. The courts and fitness room are open from 0800 to 2300 7 days a week.

We are a family friendly club and welcome new members to join us and get involved!

*Small additional light fee is payable for each game which varies between £3 off-peak to £4.50 peak which is shared by players using an electronic payment system. Subscription is an annual commitment paid in full when joining, on renewal on Sept 1st or a reduced fee if joining part way through the membership year. Any prospective member suffering financial hardship should email us to discuss how we can assist. £12 equivalent is for 18-25 and over 60. Full adult subs are equivalent of £16 per month.
